The Gillard Family Lawyers team had a fabulous time at the 2022 Bean Counters Ball at NEX Newcastle with record-breaking attendance. This was the tenth Bean Counters Ball held in Newcastle, after being postponed due to Covid. The event raised more than $35,500.00 for the charity partners.
We were proud to be one of the Platinum Sponsors again.
The 2022 theme was Gin & Jazz – featuring jazz bands Half Nelson and The Freestones, and Newy Distillery provided the gin cocktails.
The recipient of the Bean Counters Ball scholarship was Caitlin Danvers, and other presentations included a speech from Sarah Hovanyecz, the recipient of the Young Achiever Award.
The event also featured speeches by representatives from both Hunter TAFE Foundation and the Samaritans Foundation.
Funds raised at the event go towards the Samaritans Foundation and Hunter TAFE Foundation to support underprivileged students in the Hunter region pursue their studies in safe living environments.
